I’m here to help.

In the era of precision nutrition and medicine, more and more consumers are turning to genomic testing to fine-tune their health, help them unravel complex health issues and optimize their future health. Current demand frequently exceeds the availability of trained clinicians, leaving individuals disappointed or, worse still, misguided by those without the deep training to accurately interpret complex tests.

Genomics is not an easy science. It is not mastered overnight. It requires dedicated study and a period of mentoring and practice to gain the skills and confidence required to provide this service correctly.

I’m Amanda Archibald, founder of The Genomic Kitchen. As an early adopter in genomics and its associated fields of nutrigenomics and nutrigenetics, I fully understand the challenges of getting started in this field.

I’ve been there. I know how difficult it can be, when you’re ready to begin, to find the mentoring you need to confidently understand genomic test results, connect them to biochemistry and organize everything into an actionable care plan.

It’s easy to get overwhelmed, feel lost and loose confidence.

I am here to help.

I see how this field of science transforms lives – every day. Through my own extensive training, peer clinician teaching, and working with clients in my own practice, I can and will provide you with the insights, support and mentoring you need to fully embrace this transformative field.

Comprehensive Coaching and Mentoring

This comprehensive mentoring package is designed for clinicians who are currently participating in or who have recently completed a genomics training program. To bring your practice to life with confidence and proficiency, this package provides invaluable coaching and support as you build your competency with genomic test interpretation, translation and organization.

With the benefit of this program, you will progressively build your skills in real case scenarios and have the wind at your back to develop a powerful genomic testing practice. This is a made-for-you learning opportunity. You set the timetable within a two- to six-month period for mentoring as your needs arise and your practice grows.

The Program

  • Step One: All About You
Experience genomics as the client. Conduct an analysis of your own genomic test (included in package price) as you would for a client. You will identify your objectives for testing and generate a detailed report for yourself including key observations as well as action steps. Session One is a 1:1 online report review session with me to corroborate findings and practice presentation skills.

  • Step Two: Your First Genomic Test Client
I provide full support for you for your first client genomic test (you order). Together, we analyze the report, interpret and organize the results, and develop the client care plan as a team.
For the client session, I can take the lead in explaining the test results and presenting your recommendations to your client OR you take the lead and I’ll have your back if you need help clarifying information and supporting your recommendations.

  • Step Three: Your Second Client
For your second genomic test client, you take the lead on report analysis, the interpretation and organization of results, and care plan development. I provide full support and mentoring for you as you work through the process and assist you in uncovering patterns and depth in test interpretation.

  • Step Four: Your Third Client
We follow the same protocol as for your second client. I give you my full support as you work through the process and address blind spots, insecurities and strengths and help you settle into finding your voice as a genomic nutrition clinician.

  • Follow Up
Use me to fill in the blanks, confirm results or practice talking through reports with clients on an as needed basis. In addition to Steps One through Four, your mentoring package includes four 30-minute coaching sessions for follow-up Q & A as you implement additional genomic tests on your own. All sessions must be completed within an agreed six-month time frame to enable competency and help you build a robust nutrigenomic practice.
